APPLICATION: Click here for the Central District Application form.
ENTRANCE FEE: $25.00—ALL LEVELS, payable to VMTA. You can pay easily on our online payment portal. TEACHERS MUST PAY ONE PAYMENT FOR THEIR ENTIRE STUDIO. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT PAY INDIVIDUALLY!
ELIGIBILITY: Level will be determined by the school grade the student is in at the time of the next fall competitions. For example, a student in grade 4 in the spring must enter Level IB since he/she would be in grade 5 at the time of the Fall Competitions.
REPERTOIRE: Three compositions representing three different periods – baroque, classical, romantic, impressionistic, contemporary – not to exceed the maximum time limits. There will be no exceptions (students will be stopped after the maximum time has been reached)
TIME LIMITS: Time limits are strictly enforced on pre-recorded auditions. Not counting a brief space to re-set between musical selections, please make sure all pieces fit within the time range. Refer to the VMTA District Audition Page for specific details.
